Seed saving is the next step in developing our community's skills in growing food sustainably. It's also a vital part of the solution to conserving regional diversity in edible and useful plants, and can form the basis of vibrant local seed networks which support gardeners in both community and backyard settings.

Jude and Michel Fanton, founders of the Seed Savers Network, film-makers, and authors of the best-selling Seed Savers Handbook, are available to run a one-day or weekend course targeted at keen backyard growers, community gardeners, and existing seed savers.

Courses cover propagation, pollination, selecting plants for saving, harvesting, drying, seed banking, and advice on setting up and maintaining your own local seed network.
