Protest Against Dairy Calf Slaughter

Please join us as we protest pending federal legislation that aims to legalise the starvation of dairy calves for 30 hours prior to slaughter.

Around 700,000 dairy calves are slaughtered in Australia every year within 3 days of their birth. These young fragile animals are terrified, and desperately searching for their mothers as they are herded to their deaths.

Current legislation allows for calves to be starved for 10 hours prior to slaughter. We believe any period of starvation is cruel, but 30 hours goes way too far.
